Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited AI Force Tech, a robotic agricultural equipment manufacturer in Beijing, and also visited Blue Tech Air Alliance, Haijia Medical, Shijie Tan Hospital and Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport. She also met and attended lunch with the Minister of the Communist Party of China.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also met with the Chinese Minister of Environment, where she also delivered a keynote address at a conference on environmental pollution. In addition, she visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai, Junco Solar Company, Experimental School, Huawei Technologies, BGI Genomix and Minhang District Industrial Zone.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with high-level delegations of the ruling party of China, also addressed the Punjab-China Investment Conference, and also signed MoUs with Chinese companies in eco-friendly transport, agriculture, health and other sectors.
According to the report, Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s visit to China is a major milestone in Punjab’s economic development and international partnership. A highlight of Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s visit to China was the announcement by Chinese investment firm Gobi Partners, which included a promise to set up a $50 million investment fund in Punjab. The fund, worth about Rs 13.88 billion, aims to promote start-ups and SMEs in the region.
According to the report, a significant memorandum of understanding was also signed between Solar N Plus and the Punjab government to promote solar technology. Meanwhile, Gobi Partners and Bank of Punjab also agreed on a partnership focused on promoting the financial system for startups and small businesses. The agreements aim to provide financial support to businesses through loans, equity investments, financial solutions and mentoring programs in this regard.
According to a statement issued after the conference in China, the Gobi Fund will play a key role in strengthening businesses in Punjab, ensuring sustainable growth and positioning the province as a regional leader in technology and entrepreneurship.
According to the statement, the conference also highlighted Punjab’s competitive economic incentives such as tax exemptions and special industrial zones, which have made the province an attractive investment destination. The Punjab government is engaged in discussions with other Chinese companies to develop long-term, sustainable partnerships. As part of these discussions, Chinese companies also agreed to cooperate in the development of advanced solar energy projects in Punjab, which will contribute to the province’s green energy goals.
Solar N Plus will focus on introducing advanced solar technology in Punjab and establishing a center to build local capacity in the renewable energy sector.

Maryam Nawaz recorded her impressions in a book kept in the museum on this occasion and wrote that the visual observation of China’s history is an extraordinary and memorable experience. China has performed an extraordinary miracle in the history of the world. The Chief Minister said that the CPC Museum fully reflects the 130-year history of the Communist Party of China.
