President APSAMA North Punjab Abrar Ahmed Khan said that the current academic session in Punjab was severely affected by the long summer vacations, smog, protests,and now due to this scenario expected 23-day winter vacations will also bhi effected.He demanded to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan should reconsider the decision of winter vacations,Limit the winter vacations to January 1 to January 10.
This demand was submitted by President APSAMA North Punjab Abrar Ahmed Khan to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat in the form of a written request.The request took the position that the education system has been badly affected by the daily closure of educational institutions in Punjab.9 education boards of Punjab have also released the schedule of matriculation examinations starting from March 4 and the beginning of Ramadan is also expected from March 1.He said that Keeping all these aspects in mind, such decisions should be made that are better for the students.These children are the valuable assets of this country, and steps are needed to make their educational journey bright and secure.Abrar Ahmed Khan said that the final period of the academic session is very important for children.Repeated interruptions in the learning process of children adversely affect their psychology, mood and educational inclination.The Punjab Education Minister should immediately intervene and compensate the children for the lost time,By reviewing the policies of the Punjab government, give them the required time to prepare for the exams.This is their fundamental right which cannot be deprived of them.
