Tank; Security forces’ successful operations in North Waziristan, 6 terrorists killed….. During successful operations in Tank and North Waziristan districts, security forces killed six active terrorists involved in various terrorist activities against forces and innocent civilians. According to the statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), there was an exchange of fire between the Pakistan Army and the terrorists in Manzai area of Tank on the night of June 29 and 30. Traced the whereabouts of the terrorists and sent three terrorists to hell.

According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Army, the forces also recovered arms and ammunition from the killed terrorists.

The statement said that three more terrorists were killed in another fierce clash between the army and terrorists in the general area of Razmak district of North Waziristan.

Spokesman of Pakistan Army said that the killed terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians.

ISPR said that a clearance operation is underway in the areas to trace the presence of any more terrorists in the area and eliminate them.

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, the local people of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to the army forces to end the menace of terrorism.

It should be remembered that on Tuesday also, the security forces killed 3 terrorists including a terrorist commander in Inayat Qila area of Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It should be noted that on June 20, two soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred as a result of a bomb blast in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Spokesman of Pakistan Army said that 29-year-old soldier Gul Rauf from Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 23-year-old soldier Abidullah from Karak district were martyred as a result of the improvised explosive device blast.

Security forces had earlier shot dead a key militant commander and two of his associates during an intelligence-based operation in Dara Adamkhel area of Kohat district on June 18, the report quoted officials as saying. It was reported that the security forces adopted an unconventional operational procedure based on the confirmed intelligence about the presence of the commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Zafar Khan alias Zafri.

Official sources had said that Zafari, a former member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan, was involved in 26 grenade attacks in Pakistan, the commander of the banned organization was based in Afghanistan and came to Peshawar on May 22.

Earlier also on June 11, 3 soldiers were martyred during a clash between security forces and terrorists in Miranshah area of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It should be remembered that during the last one year, there has been a rapid increase in terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, as a result of which many soldiers have sacrificed their lives.

On June 5, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which 2 personnel were martyred while 2 terrorists were also killed.

Army personnel bravely fought with the terrorists, killing 2 terrorists and injuring 2 others.

A day before the said incident, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which two personnel were martyred while two terrorists were also killed.

Earlier on May 22, 2 soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred while 3 terrorists were killed during an operation based on intelligence in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
