Balochistan (Urdu Times): Terrorist attack on police station, Levies check post, 4 officers martyred.
In the exchange of fire after the terrorist attack in Dhana Sar area of Shirani district of Balochistan, one FC and 3 police personnel were martyred while one terrorist was killed.
Deputy Commissioner Shirani Bilal Shabbir said that at 12:05 PM on Sunday, unknown terrorists attacked the police station and FC check post in Dhanasar area of Shirani district.
Giving details, he said that the exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists continued for 2 hours, as a result of which one terrorist was killed and 2 were injured.
He said that the injured terrorists were managed to be taken away by their accomplices, and the law enforcement officials have cordoned off Dansar and other areas.
Bilal Shabbir said that an FC official was injured in the exchange of fire and his condition is out of danger.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that the dead bodies of the martyred personnel were shifted to the District Health Headquarters (DHQ) Zhob while the body of the slain terrorist was handed over to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
In a statement, the Deputy Commissioner said that the martyred policemen were identified as Sub-Inspector Bahadur Khan, Sepoy Muhammad Afzal and Sepoy Muhammad Baz Khan, Sepoy FC (Gunman Captain Saeed) whose bodies were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Zhob. went.
He said that CTD reached the spot and collected the evidence and started the investigation.
On the other hand, emergency was imposed in Civil Hospital Zhob after terrorists attacked the check post in Dansar.
District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Daulat Khan said that despite Eid and Sunday holiday, all doctors and staff have been summoned.
He said that the citizens of Shirani blocked the national highway in protest against the terrorist incident, which delayed the delivery of the injured to the hospital.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police and other law enforcement officials were called and an operation was started in the area.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo condemned the rocket attack and firing on the check post of the security forces at Dhanasar.
