Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will visit Turkey on June 3.

Islamabad: On the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Erdogan in Ankara on June 3, 2023.

The Prime Minister’s visit will reaffirm the deep brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkey.
The Prime Minister will congratulate President Erdogan on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan on his re-election as the President of Turkey on May 28, 2023.
The Prime Minister will also invite President Erdogan to attend the 7th meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Islamabad with the aim of further strengthening the diversified and multifaceted strategic partnership between Pakistan and Turkey.

Pakistan-Turkey relations are deeply rooted in commonalities of faith, culture and history and are strengthened by mutual trust and convergence of views on regional and global affairs. Frequent exchanges at the leadership level are a defining feature of the enduring friendship between the two countries.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took to Twitter to congratulate Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his historic re-election as President of the Republic of Turkey. Its roots are associated with public service.

The Prime Minister appreciated Erdogan’s steadfast support for oppressed Muslims and his passionate advocacy for their fundamental rights. He praised Erdogan’s re-election as president and emphasized the importance of the victory of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the parliamentary elections, which further strengthened Erdogan’s leadership and the Turkish people’s trust in him.

Shahbaz Sharif expressed his belief that the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey will be further strengthened and developed. He highlighted the upward path of strategic partnership between the two countries and hoped to deepen this partnership with President Erdogan. The Prime Minister emphasized on the strong brotherhood between the people of Pakistan and Turkey which is the basis of their cooperation.
