Both teams will play 3 T20 matches at Pindi Cricket Stadium Rawalpindi on April 18, 20 and 21. After that, the last two T20 matches (on April 25 and 27) will be played in Lahore.
It should be noted that Babar Azam says that the camp will benefit the fitness and unity of the team. Talking at the end of the camp, Babar Azam said that he is a part of the training in the Kakul camp for the third time, every time he came, he learned something. Captain Babar Azam said that even during the fast, the players trained and tried to improve, this camp is also different because there was no cricket in it, only physical fitness, speed, movement and strength were worked on.
All-rounder Shadab Khan said that there is no doubt that all the cricketers will come back with better fitness level and quality which will play a significant role when they take to the field in the upcoming challenges. Azam Khan said that the camp was tough because of the altitude but it was worth it, reaching the top of the mountain was a unique experience that will be remembered forever.
Pakistani players were also given various exercises in a gym session at Kakul Academy. At the Army School of Physical Training Center, the potential players of the Pakistan team trained in 2 sessions, one before Iftar and the other after Iftar. The players also participated in indoor games including badminton at night.
It should be noted that before this, training was conducted under the supervision of the army in 2016 to improve the fitness of the national team.
