Islamabad (Saqib Khan Khattar) DPO Ismail Kharak’s struggle against drug dealers was successful. FIR No. 272 was registered against the accused in Sadar Khanewal police station. On the instructions of DPO Khanewal, the challan against the drug dealers was presented in the court on time. In view of these strict orders, SHO President Saad bin Saeed provided concrete evidence to the court, in the light of which Additional Sessions Judge Khanewal Sardar Hamid Hussain pronounced the verdict and sentenced the accused in the 9C case. The accused is lodged in District Jail Khanewal. Citizens of Khanewal paid tribute to DPO Khanewal that he is waging Jihad against the dealers of death. In the past, though the police used to arrest the accused, but insufficient evidences were issued on time and lack of interest in the case.
