Journalists committed to peace in Balochistan, promotion of sports through sports journalism. They are committed to encouraging players. These views were expressed by Balochistan Sports Journalists Association President Abdullah Jan (Balochistan News), Secretary Finance Muhammad Ikhlas (Akhbar Khabar) during a visit to Pindi Cricket Stadium. The delegation also watched the Bahria Town Champions T20 Cup match.
The delegation also met Pakistan Cricket Board Media Operations Manager Shakeel Khan, Pakistan Sports Writers Federation Senior Vice President Zahid Farooq Malik and Founding President South Asian Sports Journalists Association Asghar Ali Mubarak.
Talking to the delegation, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation Zahid Farooq Malik expressed hope that sports journalists from Balochistan will continue their efforts for the promotion of sports, peace and harmony. He also presented a souvenir of the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games to the visiting Balochistan journalists. On this occasion, Founding President South Asian Sports Journalists Association Asghar Ali Mubarak said that Balochistan athletes performed exceptionally in the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games. Balochistan won 60 medals, including 14 gold, 15 silver, and 31 bronze medals. He said that journalists are committed to promoting peace, sports and encouraging athletes in Balochistan through sports journalism.
